Summer Plans @ Better Books & Cafe:
Following the success of teenage interns running the store and managing a Summer Camp for Girls, Better Books & Cafe is once again planning on turning the keys of the store over to interns. All High School and College students are welcome to come and talk to them about being an intern. A great experience! They will also once again consider a young lady intern to run the Summer Camp for Girls this year. If you have any questions about being an intern or registering your girl(s) for a summer camp at Better Books, feel free to come by their store and speak to Ms. Maxine.
The bookstore is open daily from 10am – 9pm For info: 6663-7351 Email: BetterBooksKuwait@hotmail.com

In this fast-paced and demanding world we live in, it’s becoming difficult to find the time to read and reflect. The rich world of literature is too valuable for us to let it pass by as it can provide us with an escape from our daily routine and broaden our perceptions and understanding of the world. It is for this very reason that the Diwan Book Club was created, in partnership with Starbucks. The main goal of this book club is to provide a platform for people who share a love of literature to come together and discuss their favorite book in a comfortable and respectful atmosphere. We hope to make reading an essential part of the lifestyle in Kuwait! If you love reading and would like to join the Diwan Book Club, please email: email@example.com or visit their website HERE.
The Book Club at Dar Al-Athar Al-Islammiyah meets at 7 PM on the 2nd Wednesday of each month at the Al Maidan Cultural Centre. Friends of the DAI are welcome to join the club and a limited number of each book is available at the museum shop. For full details & information on timings and how to join, kindly contact: firstname.lastname@example.org or visit their websiteHERE.
