Kuwaiti Athlete Hamad Al-Adwani Is Ready For London Paralympics!

LONDON, Aug 26 (KUNA) — Kuwaiti athlete Hamad Al-Adwani affirmed here late Saturday that he was ready for the London 2012 Paralympics, hoping that he would be able to repeat the success of the Sydney 2000 and Athens 2004 Paralympics, where he won gold and silver respectively. Speaking to KUNA, Al-Adwani said that he would be competing in the wheelchair 100 and 400 meters events, indicating that the numbers he scored in the events preparation rounds was very promising. The Paralympics is scheduled to begin on September 1st. Kuwait is represented in the athletics portion of the games by Al-Adwani, Ahmad Al-Mutairi, Mohammad Mejbel, and Nasser Saleh.
