KUWAIT, July 17 (KUNA) — Kuwaiti diving national team won on Tuesday seven medals, among them four gold, in the competitions of the 22nd Gulf Water Games, hosted here and inaugurated earlier today. The Qatari team won four medals, consist of two silver and two bronze in 12 competitions which witness Qatari, Omani and Kuwaiti teams. Oman won two bronze medals. Kuwaiti Diver Ahmad Qali won a gold medal for the under 11 years old category in the one-meter springboard competition, followed by his teammate Hasan Al-Mutawa who won the silver medal, while Qatari Said Ali won the bronze. Other Kuwaiti team members won two other medals in the three-meter springboard in the 14-15 years category. The Kuwaiti team will play against the Qatari tomorrow in Water polo competition for the 14-15 years category.
